Significant Disproportionality Information

Significant disproportionality occurs when districts have a significantly disproportionate representation based on race/ethnicity with respect to: a) the identification of children with disabilities, b) the placement of children in particular educational settings, c) the incidence; duration; and type of disciplinary actions, including suspensions and expulsions (34 CFR §300.646-7).
